what should I do when I've told my friend of 10 yrs something, but she's not listening to me. Her mind is the same! Yet I've told her over and over....I love her. But she's not listening to me! It concerns my mama and her past treatment of me.... I used to be abused by her, but now she treats me with love and respect. My friend won't except things are better for me! But I've forgiven my mom.

Don't let her hijack the situation, if you have forgiven your mother and have worked on moving on, then why is it her place at all to judge?

I tried again to talk to my friend. She says now she understands. I forgave my mother and let it go for myself....to heal. I couldn't go on being so hurt all of the time. I've been happier since I let it all go. But of course I haven't forgotten any of it. I never will. What I went thru made me more tenderhearted today with others......

It is good that she now understands.
Forgiveness is such an important part of healing.
