Coming this Friday: My Support Network

Hello everyone. I wanted to let you know that we will be launching a new feature this Friday called "My Support Network". This will allow you to create a real-time and personalized support network/support group that connects you to people who are dealing with the same life challenges that you are. Simply find the people that you connect with the most, support them, and follow their conversations, posts and daily progress.

You are going to start seeing the "Support" button throughout the site.

What is the Support Button?

At the heart of SupportGroups.com will be the support button. Each support button is directly tied to a user. Once you support them by clicking on the button they will be added to your support network. You can then follow their posts via "My Support Feed" on the home page. This allows you to create your own, customized support group. It can be as small or as large as you want it to be.

My Support Feed

As soon as you starting Supporting people, a new section will appear on the homepage called "My Support Feed". This will show only show posts from your personalized support network

Supporters and Supporting Lists

On your profile page there are 2 links to pages that show everyone that you are supporting and everyone that is supporting you.

You Don't need to Build a Support Network to get value from SupportGroups.com

You can still get a lot from SupportGroups.com by joining an Online Support Group, contributing to that group, or just reading posts from other users.

Our goal is to provide users with instant help and support. Whether you create your own support network, join a support group or just listen in, we want to make sure you get the support that you need.

Vic, I can't express enough how excited I am by all of these new features and additions to the Site. The Support Network is such a sensational way for all of us to more closely follow our network and better support one another.
